A quick rundown of each color might help you decide which one you are interested in learning more about in the Pentacle.
Yellow focuses on the spiritual. Religious organizations, spiritual history, artifacts and practices are considered under yellow. This includes prophecies, rituals, sacred texts, sacred locations, healing, apotrope, the pantheon and other such topics pertaining to spirituality.
Blue is more concerned with the mind and its capabilities. Psychotherapy, Dreams, Divination, ESP, Telepathy, Astral Traveling, Remote Viewing and more. Mind expansion and a focus on increasing intelligence and mental prowess overall is key to this color focus.
Red is all about power. Energy cultivation synchronizes with personal development whether that is your health and fitness, willpower and discipline, martial arts and Ego work, political and activism development and more. Power comes in many forms but they all take self-discipline and focus.
Orange is Mercurial. Having a hand in all colors, Orange continues to look at the Arcane or even magical side of all things. It is also heavily involved in the media of Arcanasium and documentation of the going-ons of the community. Everything from Hermetics to Alchemy, Low Magick to High Magick is explored.
Purple is more about the hidden aspects. Dimensions, the paranormal and the unseen universe just outside of our perception. How to engage and use such things is explored in this color focus which involves investigations into ghosts, entities, rituals and utilizing both energy and the mind to open a portal to the other side.
Green covers Nature. Bushcraft, animal psychology and handling, horticulture and gardening, studies of natural remedies, natural arts and crafts, druidry pursuits and more. Preservation and conservation are main considerations of this focus as we learn from nature and how to apply her wisdom.
Brown is about the pragmatic and strictly scientific. Testing the merits of all of the other colors, the scientific community will be conducting tests on all things. Everything from the local water to the practices of the other colors and whether they are scientifically sound.
